Hi, I'm Claire. I'm a yoga teacher and self-confessed anxiety sufferer from Birmingham UK. I wish I could claim to be an expert on anxiety but I am not. I only know what has been a lasting help to me.


I decided to collate this zine to share my own experience of self-care. This is a compilation of things that have brought me break-throughs and growth.



This is a compilation of things that have brought me break-throughs and growth and I hope you also find them useful.


They have come from a combination of constant research, books, articles, documentaries, attending numerous workshops and retreats, self-coaching techniques, mindfulness, meditation, therapy and, of course, yoga. It has been (and still can be) a bumpy road but I have gradually found certain activities, behaviour and thought processes very helpful to my progress.


Yoga has been my constant anchor, and has helped me to confront my pitfalls and evaluate ways of staying grounded, being happier, experiencing emotions, letting things go and finding balance in this seemingly hectic life.
