After experiencing such a profound and positive change in my outlook on life and mental health through the practice of yoga, I decided to embark on a quest to share this precious gift with others.

In September 2018 I trained intensively in Portugal with Indiv Yoga to gain my 200 hour qualification.

This was one of the most wonderful and memorable experiences of my life!

I have also had additional training in Yin Yoga, Creative Sequencing and Assisting & Adjusting.

Teaching yoga is not only my career, but my absolute joy.
I am deeply passionate about the metaphysical advantages of yoga, such as mindfulness, calm,
self-empowerment and awareness.

Through teaching yoga I aim to promote self-care, holistic well-being, reduced stress and self-confidence.

I also love to share the ancient philosophical aspects of yoga, as well as supporting your physicality, including alignment, balance, posture and health. 

This mind-body connection is central to yoga, and can instil equilibrium and harmony in all areas of life.

I believe that breath, mindfulness and focus are key to a holistic and authentic yoga practice, and set this ancient past time apart as a moving meditation, rather than a purely physical workout.

My teaching style is slow, considered and creative, with an emphasis on breath, relaxation, mindfulness and flow.

I aim to create a non-judgemental and inclusive space where you feel empowered to bespoke your practice according to your needs by encouraging a moment-by-moment awareness of your own body and mind.
I consider this as the sign of seasoned practitioner, rather than being advanced in your postures.

 

I specialise in Hatha flow and Yin yoga, and often combine elements of both types into classes,
as well as drawing inspiration from other traditions and disciplines, to leave you feeling harmonious,
balanced and rejuvenated.

Based in Birmingham UK, I offer group classes, workshops and day retreats at various venues in and around the city.

I also offer both live and pre-recorded online content, designed to be used in the comfort of your own home.
