Take time out of your busy life for two hours of ultimate self-care, and join Claire for this special Yin Yoga Workshop at 'Yoga and Cycle' Kings Heath.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced, accessible yoga style with postures that are held for longer periods of time.
Based on a Chinese philosophy and the concept of the meridian system, yin yoga targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body, with the help of various props and supports.
The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility as the poses stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas. It also helps us to regulate the body's flow of energy.
As the postures are passive in nature, there is more opportunity to bring your focus and awareness inwards, helping you to meditate through each posture and find inner peace, calm and clarity.
